Sounds like you had a good weekend . I wish I lived close to the beach. I believe the nearest beach is in San Diego which is a 2hr 1/2 drive. Anyway, my aunts & cousin visited. We went out to a casino-which wasn't that great I lost and didn't win a dime! My cousin on the other hand was winning on the penny slots hey $60 at a time-not bad for pennies. We had then dinner drove back home. When we got home a big black lost dog was standing at the door step. We (my sis, cousin, & I) were walking up to the door when we noticed it. We ran back to the car screaming our heads off-I'm terrified of big dogs-I'm a cat person. So anyway, the dog ran after us. We struggled to get back into the car because we were yanking on the handles and the doors wouldn't unlock. Finally we got in. My sister before closing her door was like "hey that's Hanson (my bro's dog-it kinda did look like his dog) and she started petting the stray dog . So anyway, the dog had us trapped in the car and it kept jumping & pawing at the car windows. We had to call my mom & dad who were inside the house for assistance. We survived. The next day my aunts & cousin left back to L.A. . After my family left I went to see the X-men Movie with my DH. It was pretty good. He dragged me to see it...and I liked it. Now it's my turn to make him go see a movie I want. Today-I didn't do much. Just some laundry & a few things around the house. Elisa

I live for the beach, born and raised going there regularly [we live on an island, there's beach everywhere], actually one of my apartments was overlooking the LI Sound, my backyard was sand and rocks. Honestly I get so much inner strength from the ocean and I feel so rejuvenated with my feet in the sand and sun on my face. Long Island has some of the best beaches in the world, and we have the Gulf Stream so the water is never too cold. Maybe someday you'll come visit and I'll take you to Coney Island, it's only about 3 blocks away from where I live now. I'm a cat person too, I'm not afraid of dogs though, just don't like them much, too needy;) But sounds like you had a CUJO experience and that I *would* be scared of! Today must have been a cleaning day for us February girls! Glad to hear you had a fun weekend, too! Right now I'm trying to force down a protein shake so I can make my protein and fluid targets for the day. I'd so much rather be eating a cheeseburger, OTOH, I don't miss the heartburn I would get after eating one, so it's all good! xosm

I take the same thyroid medication. I've been taking it for about 15 years now. I had horrible hair loss before I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem. My hair finally started growing back in once I was on the medication. I think they say it could be a side effect but actually it's not. The thyroid problem causes hair loss. So, people on this medication in the trial noticed hair loss but the loss was actually due to the thyroid problem. That's my opinion though.

Hi, I've never posted over here before but I just wanted to tell you that I am sympathizing with you. I'm going through the hair loss thing too and I feel like I'm losing a big piece of myself. I'm on a different thyroid medication (levoxyl) and have been about 3 years now. I noticed significant hair loss when I just started on it and it was finally back to a point where it was getting "lush" again. Now I'm losing it and I'm freaking. I wonder if its a combination. I said something to my dr and he said "Hair loss w/ weight loss or loads of hair with loads of weight?" I couldn't argue with him there. Take care and keep up the positive!
