What a horrible experience!

Please read about my 3 month appoinment and give me your feedback!

Sounds like you need a different nutritionist. YOU PAY THEM, they are there to service you ... you DON'T have to put up with someone who you don't like. I had issues with my nut post-op, she was so terrific before I had the surgery, but then after she was mean - even though she's affiliated with my surgeon, I kinda felt like she resented the WLS and ME for having it. After that visit I wrote her an email chewing her out, it was easier for me to step back, take a breath and write it out than to do it at the office when I felt so vulnerable. The second visit went better, but I still don't LOVE her. I'm looking into switching, but I'm not really in a rush to see her again anyway, I feel like I have good support from other places, KWIM? Don't let her bring you down, though, she sounds like a twit. xosm

Thank you so much. She is a twit! You are right about feeling vulnerable at the appointment. I think I had some built up stuff towards her-because she's always been pretty nasty.

Your nut and mine sounds as if they came from the same mold. I changed nuts. I didnt like mine. but when I call about something I still have to talk to her because she is the one that answers the phone. So I dont call anymore after I found that out. And she told the nurse I was drinking pop. Not even to sip I didnt drink much pop before surgery why would I start drinking it now. Some nuts are nuts. Try to find a different nut maybe that will help some. I am sorry she is so mean to you. Mayve they should include bed side manners class as part of their criteria. love marie

Thanks Marie. I am just glad that I stood up for myself for a change, usually I wouldn't say anything, and then fume about it for days. Your sounds crazy too. You are smart for changing nuts...lol
