Slim Fast Bars...
Morning all... I am having a terrible time figuring out something to have for breakfast. I was having string cheese but have had a terrible time with constipation and alot of people have told me that cheese tends to be binding for them so I cut that out. The problem is that I either need something that I can eat at my desk while answering phones and waiting on customers or I need to be able to eat it during my commute. So I was wondering about those Slim Fast Bars. I saw them yesterday at the local drug store and thought I would try them out. Anyone else using these and whatchya think about em ?! Thanks !

I prefer to look for bars that have higher protein, I have Atkins, EAS Advant Edge Carb Control bars, and Proti bars, I also went to GNC one day and loaded up on a variety of their high protein bars and pre mixed shakes for on the road eating. Don't forget the calorie count is really concentrated in the bars, much more than the shakes. For food on the run I love mixed nuts [cashews, almonds, macadamias]. They are easy to carry and now a days I can eat ONE serving [which depends on the mix, but is around 15 nuts] and feel satisfied. Someone else mentioned hard boiled eggs for portability, but I don't care for them. The bars are easy, but they make me really thirsty and REALLY full. xosm
