My WLS anniversary is 02/16 and to date I have lost 202 pounds. Two years ago I made the decision to take back my life. It was a personal decision which we have all made for our own reasons. I just got to the point where it was now or never, I had tried EVERYTHING else and been overweight my entire adult life. It has not been an easy road. I have had several additional surgeries, including my gallbladder out, an intestinal blockage and just 3 weeks ago a foot of my colon removed. With all that being said, I would have the surgery again tomorrow if I needed to. Because even with all the road bumps it has been worth it. My life has been changed forever. I am happier and healthier than I have ever been and smaller. Here is a lihk to my before and after pic after I had lost 125lbs. Congrats on your weight loss and maintenance!!! I have some arthritis in my back and left shoulder (had it before surgery)...my doc gave me a prescription for Ultram and it works wonderfully---it's safe for us to take. You didn't say what you're doing taking for your pain,,,so just a suggestion. I'll be 2 years post op next week. I'm doing fine with that part too....best thing I ever did for my back . I only have back pain now when I work too hard in my garden, but the ultram takes care of that. Best of luck to you and hope your pain goes away soon... Wanda
