Topic: RE: Off track
Hi Lorraine:
I'm two years out and struggling big time. I've lost 117 pounds and put back about 20!!! I'm going to try the "time out" I read about...3 shakes a day for 2 weeks! I need to get away from the junk foods again. I've had diarrhea everyday for the past year and that can't be good! I guess that is dumping. It does help to know there are others out there with the same problem. I began to think the surgery didn't work for me...but, its me who is not working for me!!

Topic: RE: How much lost to date? How much Gained?
Star Starz...I am so sorry to hear you have gained. Have you been to see your surgeon? I am not gaining at all...I do go up a couple of pounds if I don't exercise. I have lost 100 lbs. I am not at the place the charts says I'm to be but I am happy at 125lbs. Come join us at the WLS Graduates board, it will help you as you get back on track. We will be there to encourage you along the way as well share our gains and losses. Come on - you still have your tool and you can do this! Did you want or need to gain weight...because of getting down too low? This is the greatest thing I could have done for myself and I'm sure you are glad you did this too. Take care and I hope to see you at the other board, just click on Forums and go down to the WLS Graduates. I hope to see you there. deb k

Topic: RE: Cant get out of the 180's
Just wandering if you had any luck losing more? I was down to the 162 mark last summer and over the winter months I have gotten back to 176-180. I hate it and have been stuck. It is hard now and was just looking to see if you came up with any ideas that worked for you? Any luck on the TT? I wish I could do that....Good luck-Kathleen

Hello I have not been on for a very long time. Well I have good news I got back with my husband and we are going to have another baby. I am due in Nov. i will be updating my profile soon also. I had lost 175 lbs before the baby and now i have gained 20 lbs. it really makes me feel like I have failed every time I get on the scale at the doc. I will not even get on at home. I just hope that after this baby I can get it off.
Just wanted to say hi and talk to you all soon

Topic: RE: How is the exercising going????
HI, I have started getting into exercising in April, and really sticking to it this month, I have put on like 10 pounds since my lowest weight since the surgery. And I feel awful, I see pictures of how I looked and how I look now and am unhappy. So I am pushing myself everyday to hop on the treadmill and lift weights and drink lots of water. I think the weight gain was because I took up my old soda habit again!! I quickly lost it though, thankfully,, its so easy to fall back into old ways!! But I find it easier if I write in a book each day after I exercise so I can see my progress.

I'll admit I've been lazy for the past few weeks and I've taken on the nasty habit of smoking again. I'm ready to get back on track. Luckily my plastic surgery is a great motivator for me. I can't smoke and that will help push me along. I've been working so much that i like to get in every last minute of sleep that i can. I was getting up at 5am every morning and working out before I started work. I need to get back to that but when you work 50+ hours a week it's hard to get motivated at 5am. But this is the week i'm trying to get back into it. i'm still addicted to the leslie sansone videos. I just got a new on for my birthday and haven't tried it yet. this is a good time to get that going! like you said i need to "just do it"!! have a great day!!

Ok - who is doing exercise? I was told I had to burn 2100 cals in exercise in a week. That was easier said than done! Until I discovered the tread mill.... it may take me 2 hrs. to walk 6 miles but I am burning 2600 cals a week. I have seen a difference in my weight. I had started to gain a few lbs here and a few lbs there, now I can have the bread stick with my soup at the diner we go to and I lost a lb. Go figure...!
I would like to know if anyone else has found a way to burn cals, in this amount for variety
and so not to get bored! I love that I had this surgery and this is not as hard as I thought it would be. I still hate the scales and exercise but sometimes I have to "Just Do IT" and get over it. God bless - deb k

Sounds familiar - after 2 years I am finding that I am having to work harder to maintain my good habits. I find that going back to writing down everything I eat helps. I use sparkpeople.com to log my food - I think it's easier to use than fitday. When I don't write down everything I eat I snack between meals. I have gained almost 5 pounds over the last several months and am determined to lose it. Now that the weather is nicer it's easier to exercise. I still have to force myself to exercise though - doesn't make sense because I do feel so much better when I do.
Topic: :Help: Need Help: Finding Vintage Fruit Refresher Drinks!!!
Hi all, I have been ordering or rather running every day to KMart to see if they had my drinks in or not. They are No calorie, no sugar (splenda) no carbs and no carbonation in them!!! They come in several flavors. Peach Citrus, Pomegranate, Lemonade etc. Well, KMart won't order them for me anny more... why? I don't know. They come in a one liter comtainer or in a 4-pack of 16 oz. I think. I believe that Kmart is now associated with Sears and I have written them. Any info on these would be soooo very welcomed! Luv to you all
luv, kath God Bless ... I'm gonna ZAP KMart if they don't help me!
