Topic: RE: weight gain
I haven't lost over the last week, and I seem to be fighting one pound (gaining and losing it) The important thing to remember, though it is hard during a plateau, is that the body takes time to adjust occasionally. We have to grit our teeth, and wait it out. Just keep up the workouts, water, and protein, and we will all be all right. (i hope!) Robin 315/230 (for the sixth day in a row)/ 160?

Topic: RE: How much have YOU lost and are you normal?
I think this thing depends on what numbers you put in. If I say that I want to lose 80%, I am right on track, but if I say 100% my goal is correct, but I am slow to lose. Doc's goal is 160 or less 80% It says goal 182 I should now be less than 235 100% It says goal 156 I should now be less than 222 I am currently 230 The most important thing to remember is that this isn't taking body and metobolic factors into account. Don't put too much stock into the number, look at it more as a guide, than a bible. Robin 315/230/160

I have a protein critique on my website that you can check out, but I love body for life bars. They taste like candy bars. You might want to try those. I especially recommend the chocolate mint.

Topic: RE: Stretch your pouch
Everyone feels this way. Don't worry, just keep working hard, and don't eat more than your pouch can take, and you will be fine

Topic: RE: Stretch your pouch
trust me...lol...i understand your worries. I have had the thoughts that I may have stretched my pouch several times too...dame tooter is so wonderful though....she always brings me back to reality. I mean honestly...think about 3-4 bites....especially after its chewed. See? It will be okay. Just follow all your dr's rules.....he knows what's best. I think dame tooter has this article that says something along the lines of most of the time you don't ever really stretch your pouch....that should something stretch, it will more than not, be the stoma, which would mean that the food would leave the pouch quicker than before, which may result in eating a little more, or eating more often due to hunger. Now...lol...don't quote me...but I believe that is what it says. Congratulations on the weight loss.....you are doing wonderful! Take care. Lori.

Hey Kia....thank for the reply. That's what I have been doing...mainly liquids. Gets boring....but its not as bad as You are lucky to be able to tolerate things.....food doesn't get so disgusting when you have a large variety.

Patricia, you might want to post this again in a new thread, this one is about a new group and your post won't get any visual here for help...at least not as much as if you'd repost it separately
