Christine,
The key to liking protein powder is finding a good one. I have found a couple that I really like. Try the bariatriceating.com website and purchase some samples. I was really brave and bought 4 large containers (belgian chocolate, vanilla cinnamon, banana and cappucino) of the IDS protein powder (it was on sale and I am a sucker for a sale). It is fabulous. I usually mix it with milk but I have mixed the belgian chocolate with Jello's sugar free, fat free instant chocolate fudge pudding and the vanilla cinnamon with vanilla pudding. They are Yummy! My husband even likes it and he mixes it with water.
I also use Unjury protein powder (they have a website also- add the www & com) You can order samples also. I mix the vanilla with 8 oz of Wal-Marts version of Crystal lite drink mixes. The orange is my favorite, it tastes like a creamsicle.
I hope these couple of ideas help. Good luck!
Tammy

I have discovered Carb Countdown Milk. It comes in fat free, 2% and chocolate. They have 12g of protein per 8oz serving and are really good...and I am not a big milk drinker. I add some sugar free vanilla syrup to the plain milk and it tastes like a vanilla shake. I have trouble with protein too so this has really helped me. Hope it helps you!
