Oh Dorthe I am shocked. I didn't think he was close to dying. I'm so sorry for you, daddies little girl. He's probably looking down on you with a smile.
Sending prayers and hugs to you sweetie.

thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes. my father passed away at 7:18 this evening. My only consolation at this time is that he's in a much better place. please pray for us all - he left alot of family behind and we'll all miss him greatly.

I just follow weigh****chers points most of the time, and that doesn't steer me wrong.
Topic: RE: Warning: Thinning hair and sunburn
That's not funny...but why am I smiling? Being a hairdresser I have seen a lot of sun burned heads lately. Our thinning parts don't help any.

Don't forget to measure yourself. Sometimes when we are losing the least weight, we are losing the most inches! So measure about once a month. (and 75lbs in 5 mos is AWESOME!!!)

Hi Robin,
Great thread!!!
My heavest was the day of my surgery
2/24/05~212
7/11/05~152
Totoal loss 59 lbs
Not sure what my goal weight is-Dr. didn't mention one. I am only 4'11" so it will be low, I would guess 110-115 (wow that seems weird to say)
Looks like everyone is doing GREAT!!!
Go Febers!!!
Hugss,
Sharon

Hello, my weight at surgery Febuary 23 was 280 lbs, and today I am weighing in at 205, also I am 5"6, The weight is coming off really slowly now, well not really slow I guess just not as quick as it was at first, the dietician for Dr said she would like me to be at 135-140, so I have a ways to go.

Thank you everyone for the replies so far. I think this thread proves my point wonderfully. Those of us with more to lose have lost more weight, but you can't look at it like that.
It seems that most of us have lost between 40% and 60% of what we had to lose. We all look better, and feel better than ever.
The point . . . Don't compete with anyone other than yourself, and when the weight loss slows (as it inevitably will) don't give up, just work a bit harder, and shake up your routine.
We are all winners (I mean LOSERS
) here!
Robin
