I don't have a particular food or group of foods during a day either.
I just don't eat alot of anything. Probably not even as much as I should.
My bloodwork came back fine although I have been tired lately.
Keep it up!! and God Bless.

You are doing great! I had surgery 2/08/05 and I have lost 85 pounds. This is the best thing I have ever done for my self. My biggeest thing lately is trying to get more protein in because of hair loss. I am glad I had a lot of hair to start with. It has started to slow down. THANK GOD

I have my bloodwork next week, so I'll let you know then.
Typical day:
B - instant breakfast with Carb Countdown
or 3 slices crisp bacon
S - 1 oz cheese
L - soup or chili or leftovers
D - same as lunch
sometimes I have a protein shake or bar if I'm low. sometimes I have some soy crisps if I'm craving crunch.

Welcome Dawn! I'm a newbie as well to this board and my surgery date was the same day as Sarah's 2/17/2005. I've lost 80 pounds so far. I was a size 24 in pants and I just bought my first pair of a size 14 this week. Let's keep losing ladies

I'm the same as Kia on this one-I don't really have a set eating pattern. I probably should be eating more than I do. I basically eat anythong I want, just SMALL amounts...and no bread, or sugar. I drink mostly water, and some milk and OJ every now and then. I've only had bloodwork done once since surgery, and it came back OK.

I honestly don't have any set eating pattern. I do know I don't eat enough normally - food is just not a priority for me any more but I should be eating at least 3x a day. Today for example, breakfast was vitamins, lunch was a strawberry protein shake and dinner so far is tuna helper (we make it with 3 cans of tuna so lots of protein in there). Later I will prolly try to fit in another protein shake to up my protein and I might also eat a protein ball. My blood work is fantastic so I have been told, but I take my vitamins etc. religiously.

Sarah to get your picture on the message board, email [email protected] and attach a picture to your email. It takes up to 2 weeks sometimes depending on how busy they are.

Hi, my typical food day consist of the following:
B - 1/2 or carb control yogurt or 1 oz cheese, or leftover meat & vegs.
L - Meat and vegetables
D - Meat and vegetables
I occasionally eat fruit but I can still only eat between 1 oz and 1 1/2 at each meal. I do use protein drinks sometimes because I still struggle with getting in enough. I do not eat any starches except what my vegetables and fruit have and I keep the carbs below 25 grams per day.
My last blood work was fine. I did battle low potassium and my surgeon prescribed me a liquid potassium. It worked wonderfully but it tasted aweful
As for B-12 mine results were fine however, I have been dealing with fatigue and a tingling in my right leg. Doc had me start taking B-12 and B-1 and I feel great now.
Hope you get your bloodwork back in the normal ranges soon.
Best wishes,
Dana

I was wondering what people are eating in a typical day now, almost 6 months out. Also, how have your post-op bloodworks coming back? I am currently battling low potassium and B12......Any one else?
