Brandy,
I wanted to let you know that I too have a food addiction but this tool only allows me to eat so much. I didn't mention this in my last email to you. I was up late and I only put some good tips that I follow as far as what I eat and all. IF you have lossed 90 pounds you have done better than me!!! You are doing GREAT!!! I have lossed only 84 pounds, but I am happy about that. You are losing much faster evidently. It is funny, but I can go two to three weeks without losing and then lose about 5 pounds and for some reason that makes me feel good. Right now I have gone on about my second week without losing but about 1 pound. I keep a positive outlook because I know I am still losing. Even if I don't see the loss I feel it and it shows in my clothes.
Good Luck and don't feel bad!!!

Dorthe,
That sounds great! It is nice that you have two people you adore that will be the name of your ANGEL. I also like that you will put your children's names in the wings. That is awesome. You go girl!
Talk to you soon!

Good Luck Dorthe with your appointment! By the way you look great!!! I am wishing that all of will meet our goal weight! I would love to get down to 135....but my family doctor says that I should be about 150. 150 is ok too but it would be nice to be the size I was when I got married!!! My husband would love that!!! Well things are tough right now because I have only lossed a pound in the past two weeks, but I bet I will lose more next week. It is funny that I can go two to three weeks without losing and then drop about five pounds in one week. I guess because it takes time for our bodies to show the loss. I like it though, because when I drop alot in a week it makes me feel better. Hopefully you will get great results from your appointment.... I know you will.

hi brandy. wow - you sound like you're doing and going through the same stuff as i am. but you've already dropped 90 pounds - forever - so you must be doing something right. RIGHT?
try to stick with the water and protein - not at the same time. even if you're eating whatever you want, as long as it's only a taste, don't beat yourself up over it. this is a lifestyle change not a diet. you're in it for LIFE. and the fact is that we're all learning new methods and choices.
i don't know that i'll ever be thin, brandy, but i'm looking for healthy and able to do more stuff. and i'm already both of those things so i'm already a success.
and brandy - if you haven't already figured this out - i still weigh more than your starting number. it's all a matter of perspective, i guess. i find myself accepting my frailties and letting myself off the hook about guilt so that i can do all this for another day. even though i'm not into aa or oa or whatever, i do know that 'one day at a time' is the way to go at it.
hope this helps a little, girl. try to be nicer to yourself - you're very much worth it. focus on what you're doing correctly. congratulate yourself on that.
90 pounds in six months averages out to 15 per month. that's awesome in anyone's book. hope you dig deep down and find a happier you inside.
take care

I wanted to let everyone know that a friend of mine that had the RNY surgery 5 years ago told me to use Aloe Vera Pills. You can get them at a nutrition store. I take two a day and they work way far better than exlax which my husband uses at times. I have always had bowel problems and even before the surgery when I had to drink that clear liquid the doctor tells you to buy and drink... Well any ways I drank the whole bottle by the time I was supposed to until 9;00 p.m. that night and I never went until early the next morning and I didn't go as much as I thought I should have but I did lose 10 pounds without food from that afternoon on and then going to the restroom.... It is funny, but I have a serious bowel problem since I was a child. I have never gone regularly. Now that I take the Aloe Vera, I don't have problems going.
I just wanted everyone to know about the Aloe Vera Pills.
Good luck to everyone.
Also, I have lossed 84 pounds as of today since my surgery on the 23rd. I feel so great. I can do so much now and get around without feeling miserable.

Topic: RE: Ughhhhhhhhh ?. LOSING HAIR!
I am having the same problem. I took my girls to the hair salon yesterday as I always do before school begins, but this time I wasn't getting my hair done with them. I am afraid to. However, while I was there I remembered that a website about WLS had information from a doctor about hair loss. He stated that to use NIOXIN shampoo or some other and I can't remember the name. I asked about the NIOXIN while I was at the salon with my daughters and lucky for me the salon at JC Penny's in the mall in Wichita Falls Texas had it on sale. The girl told me that her boyfriend used it for his thinning hair and it slowed his down. The funny thing is that this set came with shampoo, conditioner, and a spray. It was normally 38 dollars and it was marked to 9 dollars and something. When she gave me my bill it was only 6 dollars and some change. I was glad I asked and that it was on sale. You can buy the 30 ounce bottles of shampoo and conditioner together for 30 dollars. I only bought the small 3 pack because I figured I shouldn't need it that long. I also started taking the Biotin. However it is too early right now to tell the difference. My hair falls out by the hand fulls as well. I had thick hair as well but now it is about a third of its past thickness. I hope too that this will soon pass. I loved my hair and I knew before the surgery that this happened to some people. However, the weight loss is way more beneficial to me. Take care and as soon as I know if this will work I will let you know.

Brandi,
Just stay with eating protein that you like and vegetables then you will not stay as hungry. I make a chicken stirfry that I love to eat. All you need to do is boil some rice and put in a can of tomatoe sauce and a can of rotel tomatoes after the rice has cooked. While the rice is cooking cut your chicken breast up into small pieces and salte with garlic, pepper, and salt. Add bell pepper and onion as well. Once the chicken is salted add to the rice mixture. This is easy and the rice keeps you full as well. Easy to cook. I can make in less than 30 minutes. My husband and I do well with this. We also like stuffed bell pepper. I snack sometimes at night on popcorn. I still lose weight and I don't feel very hungry. Also, what may be making you snack alot is if you are drinking with your meals. Some people are still hungry after 30 minutes because of this. If you are doing this, stop it now. If not you will cause your self to not lose weight. Keep in touch!!! I find on trips I snack on foods that are not healthy and one thing I try to take on trips is beef jerky so that I get protein. I like the peppered beef jerky from walmart.
Good luck!
