I thought once I had this surgery I wouldn't want to eat bad ever again. I was wrong. I have passed the stage of newness with this surgery, and now am facing reality that the overeating fase is still there. I have lossed almost 100 pounds, and still constantly think about food. On bad days I will chew things that are not supoose to go into my stomache and spit it out before it gets the chance to hit my stomache. I know this is not a good thing, but you know it gets rid of my craving. On days that are good I constantly have fluid ( crystal lite , I love the peach tea!), and have fruits available. I also found that having pictures of myself at my heaviest, or videos of me, my journal of how I felt at my heaviest reminds me that I can be that aweful way suffering again someday if I don't stay on track. Then I look at myself now in the mirror, and see that it is definitly worth it to stay on track. All of us with go off track at one point, just remember that when you do , you need to get those reminders out and get back on. This is something that you for the rest of your life will have to deal with. Hopefully the further you get the easier it will become to let go of the bad habits. Also try your HARDEST to have NOTHING in your house that is bad for you that way it won't be easy for you to snack or eat the bad stuff. Teach others around you the same. I hope this helps. Take care Faith

Hi Wendy, you are doing great on the weight loss, almost in Onderland, be sure to post when you get there, it is a wonderful feeling. Sorry to hear your blood work is low, I went this morning to get mine. I'm anxiously waiting as I do suspect I'll have some low numbers to, probably potassium and B vitamins based on how I'm feeling and the symptions I'm having. I had low potassium back at 3 months and my doctor but me on the liquid potassium, it taste awesome but works better and quicker than the pills. Have you been feeling tired? I want some energy, I feel tired most days and it frustrates me. Good luck on getting your numbers up, and be sure to get back on your vitamins faithfully. Sorry to hear about your MIL. Hi Kristin, Happy Anniversary and congratulations on the 123 lb loss, that is awesome . Try not to stress about the blood work, I don't like it either but I just turn my head and focus on something else. It does happen quickly. I actually went this morning to do mine. Now I wait for the results. Best wishes, Dana

I am not sure if people are still reading this thread but I am also stuck and have only lost 40some pounds. 330 to 284 and things do not look like they want to happen. I have bad knees and it makes it hard for me to vary my exercise a lot. I have been braving the pain for walking on the tread mill. At this point all of those bouncy classes just make me hurt looking at them. There was talk at the last meeting of us goining on a 700 cal diet for a time. My other and probably worse problem is that I do not get sick from any food. Candy, sugar and even fat do not make me ill. I have been trying to stop them completely but I have always had problems with the old won't power. Yes I can eat far less than I could before but still I have managed to stall my progress so it must be bad enough. Jess J
