The greatest thing happened I am no longer on the insulin pump for diabetes. I kept going into lows so I disconnected the pump and am doing great without it (Ya Hoo). My anniversary was on the 9th and I am so very happy I had this surgery the past year has been the best in my entire life so far. I have come so far, as all of us have, but I never thought I would see the day I would not need insulin. I have about 35 more lbs to go before I reach my goal, but I am not giving up on it and will work with my new tool to try to reach it. Can you guys believe it has been l year already it sure flew by for me anyways. Take Care Everyone Cheryl

congrats on your one year anniversary. this year has gone by really quickly! it's amazing how quickly and how much has changed over this year. i too am no longer dependant on meds for diabetes. isn't that the best feeling. that was one of my biggest motivators. i hated all the pills i was taking. i still have to take a lot but at least i know they're just vitamins now. wow only 35 pounds to go too...that's fantastic! congrats on such a great year! Happy Re-birthday Cheryl, this year has flown by I have to agree with you on that. Seems like yesterday we all began our journey to good health and here we are one year later....feeling better, looking better, and for the most part off all the meds....I take a ton of vitamins but I'm willing to do that anyday not to have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, joint pain, GERDS and diabetes. Praise God and thank Him for the skill he's given our surgeons' to help us regain good health. Hugs, Dana
