really BAD news for my friend and a wow moment for me yesterday

for those that have been following the story of my friend's son...first of all let me give you the update on him. they got the results from the bone marrow test yesterday and his cancer is in the bone. they are having a bone scan done today to see how bad it is. that's all i know for right now. his dad said that aidan did really well with the chemo and he's still smiling...he's so precious! and my wow moment is this....my mom took me shopping yesterday before my leg surgery to keep my mind off it. which by the way i'm doing just fine! thank goodness for drugs and outpatient surgery. anyway i tried on some jeans and guess what...SIZE 6! i can't believe it!! my mom was so excited she bought them for me. she said "i can't even get into a size 6 yet" she's an 8, but she has bigger hips and a butt...i don't have either. anyway...i'm excited! thanks for reading this. Steph, I'm so sorry to hear about Aiden, it is so hard when cancer affects anyone but when it attacks a baby, it makes us question why. I know we shouldn't and I try not to but it's just so hard to understand. I will keep Aiden in my prayers. Now for the wow moment, you go girlfriend and you thought it would never happen , congratulations I know it was a happy day for you. Steph, I am very sorry about the little man. I really hope they caought it in time. and he must be a very brave little boy. I dont know what I would do if my little marky had Cancer. I am just glad they have a friend like you to be there for them. and for your wow. Oh my goodness. a size 6 Woooooo HOOOOOOO for you. I just got in to a size 16 and I thought that would never happen. I am still at 226lbs but i hope it starts droping off again. I have not lost any in a while. faith 5'9 389/226/180
