I went shopping today at lunch, I want clothes for Christmas (imagine that ) and DH told me to pick out what I want, my man has no taste (shhh I didn't say that). Well, anyway I bought 2 pair of jeans, a shirt, a sweater and a jacket, in the juniors dept for $84. The jeans are a size 5, OMG I picked up a size 7 and thought yea these might fit....nope they were too big, I can't believe it. I'm excited, in awe, a size 5, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever wear a size 5, if I didn't have all this skin, I could possibly wear a 1-3, does this make sense? To cool, I'm excited!!!! Just had to share. Hugs, Dana

Thats great Dana! Doesnt it feel great??!!! Youve done so amazing and you look great! Isnt it great to be able to shop in the juniors dept? I used to hate shopping, now I love it! Ive just found that I can wear a 2misses and 3 juniors in jeans/pants and small tops if they have stretch medium if they arent, my boobs are a little bigger than I anticipated, but hey I love em!. Its so weird as I was NEVER this size expect maybe when I was 9 lol! The weird part is that I still pick up 3 or 4 sizes larger than what I actually wear. My mind still cant fathom that Im a 2-4 instead of a 12 or 16. Im kinda glad to see that Im not the only one that picks up bigger sizes! This has been the best year ever!!!! (well except when my kiddos were born, but this is pretty close!) Before ya know it youll get in a 0-3 without a problem! Big (((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) Krystle

Krystle, girl isn't this surgery just amazing. I've experienced so much joy and excitement these past 10 months...more than I ever expected to happen has happened. I'm with you on the clothes, my goal was to wear an 8-10, never thought anything smaller would be a possibility. I love shopping too. I had to wrap the clothes, yea even though I know what it is, but the kids don't understand why mom doesn't have presents under the tree like everyone else so now I do. One of the jeans I bought have rhinestones all over them....I hope I'm not too old to wear them, I feel like a youngster so why not look good, right? Girl, I guess it's time for both of us to quit losing weight, now how do we stop it? Merry Christmas! Hugs, Dana

((((Steph)))) thanks sweetie, I like the tiny comment, I don't see it but it feels good to be called tiny. Wanted to share with you....someone told me last week that I need to find someone that I think is the same size as me and take a picture of us together, it supposedly helps us mentally to see the comparison. I'm going to Louisiana tomorrow to see my parents and I'm going to take a picture with my mom or sister, they say I'm much smaller than them but I feel bigger so I'm hoping this helps. These mental games are You are doing so well yourself Steph, I'm really proud of you....we've all worked so hard to be where we are today....congratulations. Hugs, Dana

Hi Ladies, Congrats on such great achievements, everyone in this thread!! I'm wondering, would you mind sharing how tall you are? I usually don't do the comparison thing, but when I saw the sizes you've posted my jaw was hanging open!! I'm down from a size 24 to a 14. The 14's fit but look a little weird, thanks to my odd saggy shape. (But I'll take it any day over where I came from !!) My goal is to wear a 10. Just lately, as great as I feel to have gotten to a 14, I've been feeling like a 10 is pretty much unattainable. I'm still losing slowly (and if I could exercise more frequently could probably pick up the pace!). Would really appreciate your sharing height info! Thanks!! Marie 297/182/ goal 150

Hi Marie, hun the 10 is attainable I think, of course it depends on bone structure and such. I'm a shorty and small boned so don't compare yourself to where I or anyone else is. You're getting close to goal, remember most lose up to 18 months just slower than the first 6 months and then it is work but still can happen...work your tool. BTW, how tall are you? Dana

hi marie.... my personal goal is 150 but my nutritionist set a goal for 143...i'm 5'8". and right now at 153 pounds i'm comfortable in a size 10...i'm going shopping tomorrow to see if i can get into a size 8 yet. Size 8 was my goal, but i might just keep going to the 143 pound goal...just depends. i can't ever decide! Steph 350/153/143-150

Steph, Thanks for your reply! Wow, you are just days away from your (original) goal!! Way to go! Your feedback is really helpful, especially since we're basically the same height. I think if I get back to exercise (the real kind, not the once-every-other-week kind) then 150 is a very achievable goal for me, and sounds like that's somewhere around a size 10 or maybe a few pounds less could be...dare I say it??...an 8! Wow, I'm very impressed by everyone's successes! Thanks for posting your specifics, it's really helpful. Marie

Oh yeah, I just realized I forgot to post my own height! Anyhow, I'm pretty tall at 5'9". So, I'm pretty darn sure a 3 is never going to be in my future!! But geez, a 10 or an 8 sure would be nice! I guess my goal weight of 150 would put me around a 10 or so. I think my sister (who has never been fat a day in her life and is 5'10) is around 155lbs and wears a 10. Marie
