having surgery...not happy!!
just wanted to let everyone know that i'm having surgery on my legs. i know i had told you guys before about how my legs and feet were numb and stuff. well i have nerve entrapment...the surgeon said it's like carpal tunnel of the legs. so i have to have the nerve surgically released. it's outpatient and not a huge deal but i thought i'd keep you updated. i'm not happy that i'll be unable to exercise for awhile...but i know i have to do this. i'll be having the left leg done on november 30th and the right leg done in january sometime. oh and i did get a b12 shot wednesday, i usually do the subligual b12....it made a world of difference. that helped with the feeling in my legs and feet! it's amazing. does anyone give themselves the b12 shots? i'm going to do that. i'm curious if you do give them to yourself and where. thanks!1

Hi Steph, sorry to hear your leg numbness is going to require surgery. I just went through a day surgery to and it wasn't a big deal, I know we always stress about it....please know you are in my prayers. Post when you can and let us know how things are going.

Steph,
Sorry to hear you need surgery. I know you are in a routine now with exercise. In Aug I had to have surgery to stretch my stomach opening and had to wait 2 weeks before going back to pilates. I felt guilty not doing my exercises twice a day.
Re; to B12. I have been giving myself shots for years. I have an anemia problem pior to WLS which continues still. I slap my thigh and stick it in the muscle. Hardly feel it after the sting of the slap. The day of shot and day after are my best days.
