feb 2nd and 136lbs lost
Ok is any one out there losing very slow now. my date was feb2 and I have lost 136lbs. I have been slowin down for a long time now. give some advice if you can.
this is what I ate today:
B-string cheese
s-1/2 of lean dinner
l-1/2 a meat loaf san and 3 bites of cottage cheese
s- 1 cup popcorn
d-other half of meat loaf san
oh ya 60 oz of decaf. ice tea
do you think I eat too much.
I have not lost any in a week or so.

it doesn't sound like you are eating too much. do you track your calories, fat, and protein intake? i use fitday.com to track all my food and activities daily. i know every doctor is different and my doctor has me on the 3 meals no snacks deal so i'm not sure how it works with the snacks in between. but 136 pounds is a lot dear! that's great!! don't get upset about not losing for a week...that happens to me often now. your body is just catching up. check yourself i'll bet you've lost inches. i sat at 180 pounds for a couple weeks and my pants size went down without losing any weight. try that i think you'll be amazed that there are inches gone.

sounds as though you're doing really, really well. since you asked for comments, though, i'd have to agree with prior post. not losing in a week isn't a big deal. your body's doing it's best to keep up with the new you - so relax, make sure you're following all the rules your dr gave you, and enjoy the new you.

I had my surgery on Feb. 1 and have lost 134 pounds. It sounds like we're on the same track!! You are not eating enough in my opinion. I eat twice as much as you do in a day. I try to stay between 1,000 and 1,200 calories a day and I'm steadily losing 2 pounds per week. Is this the first time you've stalled? There was a time a few weeks ago, where I stayed the same weight for three weeks in a row. I was going crazy. But, eventually it started falling off again. Do you exercise? I try to exercise every day and if I work out extra hard one day, it seems to jog the weight to fall off faster! Good luck and you are doing fine!!! You might try to increase your calorie intake a little bit. Are you hungry at all? See, if you eat too little calories, your body will hold onto the weight because it thinks your starving it.

Frankly, I think you are doing fantastic. I've lost 107, but must admit I haven't exercised as much as I should. Summer is our really busy time at work and I was working 14-16 hour days. Just not enough time, but now am back at it again.
I seem to lose in "bunches" I may go 2-3 weeks without any movement on the scales then drop several pounds. I try not to get on the scale but 2x per month, that way I'm not disappointed if I don't see much of a loss. I still have 80 lbs to lose, but it's like the tortise and the hare, we will both get there eventually.

I am up and down the stairs at work all day I am on the top floor. And I usualy walk to work but I havent been able to lately. I have a back problem. so I guess I dont get in as much exersize as I should. I am going back to my shakes and fresh veg, lean meats. I hope that helps.
the scale went up another pound this morning. 253 again. I really would love to be down by another 50 pounds by feb. 4th I am going to see George in Vegas baby.

Sounds like you are doing fine. I've been on a month and a half/two month plateau.. I got down to 176 (started at 284)...and for the last month or two I've bounced around from 176 to 182 and everywhere in between. My exercise came to a screeching halt in July when my back/neck problems got really bad. I'm kinda at a loss as to what I need to do. Good luck to you.
