5 lbs in 4 days !!!!
Ive lost 5 pounds in the last 4 days I need to stop!! My cheek bones are sticking out, my eyes look sunk in, my 6's now fit a little loose! You can see all of my ribs (even thru the 10lbs of extra skin) my 34D has turned into a 32 its impossible to find that! My chest looks sunk in, I know I shouldnt complain, but all I ever wanted was to be HEALTHY and look healthy. Instead I'm healthy but am starting to look like a freak. I never realized 5 pounds made much of a difference. For once in my life I'm too skinny and I HATE it.
Ive been on my "maintanance " diet that my doc told me to follow and now this! I know its my own fault though. Ive been eating 950-1000 cals a day and I'm supposed to eat 1700-2000 a day. Thats just so much food and I feel like all I do is eat all day. It made me feel like I was being a pig and was making me so depressed! Really messed with my mind a lot! I guess I just need to hear it'll be okay, and it will stop. Thank you all of you for letting me whine, I just didnt know what else to do!!! Youre all such a great support for me!

hi krystle. i'm so sorry to hear you're not happy with your results at the moment. sounds as though one or two sessions with a wls counselor or dietician might be in order. it seriously can be an issue, anorexia after wls, and i'd hate to see you have that issue.
please do what you need to do to take care of you, girl. you've come so very far in such a short time - the changes are overwhelming and take some getting used to. and listen to your dr, too. they really, truly do know a whole lot about this, you know.

Krystle, I'm not below goal, about 6 lbs away from it and yes getting to thin is a concern for me. I am wearing a size 6, some 8's in pants depending on manufacturer, I actually put on a pair of size 4's and if it wasn't for all the skin they would have fit comfortably. I wear a size Medium/Large shirt depending again on who makes them, I do still wear a 36 DD bra though and that has something to do with my shirt sizes.
Ok, now off of the rambling, I go to my surgeon on November 25 and I expect he will be riding my tail because I am losing faster than he wants. He told me I need to eat freely, don't count carbs, etc but I can't, I don't care for potatoes or bread any more and I still can't eat much at a time, he only said 3 meals a day but I do add in at least one snack and a shake or two a day but I continue to loose pretty easily.
I look at myself in the mirror and my face is looking older, I think you replied to my post about looking older last week. I do need to put a new picture on my profile, don't look at the last ones it isn't to noticable but the last 10 lbs I've seen a notable change.
Call your surgeon, you may need to add in some Ensure or something of that nature to add in calories. Do you drink protein drinks with milk between meals, that will add some extra calories to your day?
don't wait to long to talk to someone, I agree, it isn't healthy for you go get to thin or become anorexic.

Dana, girl you do not look older you look 5 years younger. You need a new mirror hun! You look simply gorgeous and so do you Dorthe.
I'm not worried about becoming anorexic just looking like I am, I still eat without a problem, its just the extra that I'm supposed to get in that gets me. After going so many months of 3 meals with the occasional snack this 6 with protein drinks is a big jump!

Since it is so hard to actually eat the extra meals try getting more calories in the meals you do eat. Do you dump? If not make choices that are not sugar free or low fat to up the calorie count. I've noticed when I eat more than about 30 grams of carbs a day I am hungrier and can actually eat more at each sitting. So maybe adding carbs would help you. Maybe a drink that older adults use to maintain their weight and nutrition might help. Like ensure or boost or something like that.I'm not sure how they taste. Mix your protein shake in ice cream for your evening snack. I hope you are able to find something that works for you and hope your able to be happy and healthy. Good Luck and keep us posted.
