Weight loss at a stand still
Tami
You are not alone! Trust me when I say I'm highly disappointed in lack of weight lost. I'm past my 6 months and I didn't lose 100 pounds like most of the people here and people I know that had lost the weight in 6 months or less.
But I'm trying to find a bright side to all of this. Notice the word "trying"
So I'm no where near my goal weight. Atleast I'm not a size 24 anymore and I'm under 250
Don't worry we'll get to our goal weight sooner or later. We just have to work harder at it.

hi tammy:
i, too, had surgery in february. i've been watching myself gain and lose the same five lbs now for what seems like forever. as of six months i had lost 106 lbs. now i've lost 115 (or so) i refuse to let it depress me, though, since any progress is better than none and i'm way better off than i was last february.
i'm not sure what to recommend as a jumpstart. i know when i start getting impatient, though, i read my pouch rules again and generally find where i'm slipping or slacking off. i doubt that's what you want to hear, but it's what i do.
good luck, tami. hope it gets better.
hugs to you
dorthe
Don't let the slow down/stand still get you down. i think we've all pretty much gone through that. i've been going up and down between 185-188 for about a week now. it gets discouraging i know but look on the bright side...you're much smaller and healthier than you were back in february...RIGHT!?! You're doing great....don't worry!!
Tami,
Dont get discouraged you have come so far already! Our bodys all have to catch up with all the fast weight loss. Everybody stalls at some point. Just keep getting in tons of water (till you float all day lol!) and get in as much walking/exersizing as you can. Sooner or later the scales gonna move down. Have you been tracking your calories and intake? Maybe youre not getting in enough food and are in starvation mode? I know some days Id only get in maybe 500 calories if I was lucky so for a few days Id up it too 900-1000 and it would give me a jumpstart. Try using fitday and see what your getting in for cals and protein. The more protein you can get in the better!
Good luck, and remember EVERYBODY goes thru days, weeks, even months of not losing. Just keep working your tool and you can do it! I know its hard not to get discouraged, but just think of how much youve lost already!
