My start weight was 292. Now I'm 242. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy about losing the weight. But I just really thought it would be alot more. I'm don't have much money to join a gym. But I'm hoping that with this 2 week pass I got I'll be able to jump start weight lost again.

You started the same as me and you have lost more. It's easy to have unrealistic expectations when we see posts by people who have lost so much so quickly. Hang in there! Ruth

tell me about it. When it comes to unrealistic expectation I seem to be good at it. Anyway, I know the rest of this weight is going to come off. I just hope it is sooner then later. I'm hanging in there. I'm not giving up hope. Thank you Maria

Hello Star, I have not lost anything in two week either and if you see the board alot of people on our date have not lost in 2 wks. I think we are just adjusting... to the weight loss and I have lost 77Ibs so far. Good luck to you all.

I had my surgery on feb 28th, my starting weight was 247. i have lost 51 lbs sp far. I thought this was slow but my surgeon was thrilled at my 3 month visit. He said that he thought i would lose 90lbs in the first year and that i lost 50 in the first 3 months. WHEN DID ANY OF US DO THIS BEFORE WLS????? Hang in there Maria De (youre from my hometown SOP) I grew up there. Pam 247-196-135-125

Oh cool! Now you're out in the Island. I think that is everyone's dream. Over here in SOP. Maybe it's because we're so close to the Island. As for me this summer I'll be spending my time down south in KY. I'm going for training to becoming a Flight Attendant. I'm going to be living one of my childhood dreams Have a great weekend Maria

I haven't lost over the last week, and I seem to be fighting one pound (gaining and losing it) The important thing to remember, though it is hard during a plateau, is that the body takes time to adjust occasionally. We have to grit our teeth, and wait it out. Just keep up the workouts, water, and protein, and we will all be all right. (i hope!) Robin 315/230 (for the sixth day in a row)/ 160?
