Another plateau
Hi Everyone,
I know it's probably not a real plateau (at least I hope not) but I am stuck again! I have not lost any weight in 2 weeks.. I lost 60 lbs. at 3 mo. but haven't lost anything since. Is anyone else stuck at this stage? I just keep doing the program and I know it will eventually kick in, just wondering if anyone else is on the same page?
Thanks,
Mary M.
I have been stuck at 80 pounds for a little while now. I've have recently upped my exercise to 5 miles a day though and I probably need to up my calorie intake. I've read on here many times that if you don't eat enough calories your body will go into starvation mode. Do you exercise regularly? How many calories, protein, and water do you take in daily? Do you keep a food log? I've been doing that the whole time and it really helps me out.
Yes for me also...been at 174 for 2 weeks. Today was the first day I got all my vitamins in, my B12 shot and 1200mg LCarnitine. I also started on my Pilates and had already been using the Gazelle. I was in bed thinking I have to sleep I 'm so tired, took my shot and one capsule every 20 minutes or so until I got them all in, within 1/2 hr, I was up dressed on my equipment, worked outside in the yard, then came in cleaned the house and on to the garage. I just kept going and its now 3AM and I am still wide awake reading the board.
I took L Carnitine (1200mg 2 times a day(liquid) from June to Aug and I lost 15 lbs that stayed off without changing a thing. (this was 6 months prior to surgery) So hoping my old regime will work for me. I was holding back on exercising (dr told me no tummy until 3-4 months) and my regular capsules vitamins since I was vomiting everything up. Feeling much better, well as long as I only eat soup or cottage cheese that is.
I had 3 other surgeries with my lap RNY so maybe that is why I am just loosing a little slower.
I am not really at a plateau yet but the last two weeks I have only lost a couple of pounds. I really haven't been eating much at all, what I can have doesn't appeal to me so I just don't eat and I wonder if this may be contributing to my slow down. It is frustrating and for me scary cause it makes me wonder if I am done losing already.
