insurance question dr. Frantzides patients

just need to know if anybody else has had any problem getting your insurance company to reimburse you for the money paid upfront to Dr. Frantzides? I have bc/bs and they only paid $1100.00 and his total bill is $12635.00 and I paid $6500.00 up front I'm trying to fight them but would like some input on what past patients have had to deal with thanks Todd p.s. only 4 pounds to go till 100 -- Todd Henry

Todd, I'm also insured with Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO, they sent me a bill for over $19,000.00 and they only paid about 1,300.00. I sent the bill to my doctor and he is appealing it. So I'm in limbo also, if I knew that I would have to pay that type of money, I NEVER would have been able to afford the surgery...Wishing you well on you insurance battle. Carmen
