I am getting a little down on myself today. I am almost 13 weeks post op and I have not lost anything in over a week! I know I know it is probably nothing, but I get so dang aggravated. I get anywhere from 700 to 1200 cal a day depending on the day. I started at curves, and get enough water in. I average about 70 grams of Protein a day sometimes more. I just finished my monthly cycle Monday, so I was expecting a few pound loss, but that didn't happen. I have lost 57lbs so far, and I am happy about that, I guess I am just anxious. How is everyone else doing?? Anyone else having a stand still on the weight loss?? Brandy

I went almost two weeks without losing anything-didnt even lose any inches-when I was about a month out. My cycles about to start so Ive gained a pound this morning, and probably wont lose anything till its over in a week. It kinda gets to me, but then I remind myself that I used to GAIN 5-7 pounds each time I started my cycle(sometimes I wouldnt lose it either). I'm gonna try and stay off the scale till my 3 month check up on the 23rd cause Im driving myself nuts with getting on it everyday. Of course I said that a few days ago and was back on it the next morning--oops! Youre doing great! Keep up the great work Krystle 256/196//135

Hey Brandy...you are not alone. I am on my SECOND stall in a little over 10 weeks. I went weeks 6-8 without any weight loss, then dropped like 10 pounds, and have not lost anything since. My clothes do seem to be getting a little looser....and everyone tells me that they can tell that I am loosing....so there must be some inches coming off....but boy is it upsetting to get on that scale...and see no change, or even worse, 1/2 pound or so more than the day or few days before! Just hang in there.....that's what I am trying to do.....and hopefully we will see changes very soon. Take care. Lori

I don't hold the record, but I had two different periods of 3+ weeks without losing. I was ready to scream. I don't know if these were normal plateaus or if it was my hernia - someone said hernias can cause stalls, and it was true for me. Since getting the hernia fixed, I'm back to losing 1-2 lbs a day. I hit the -60 point today on my 3-month anniversary. Don't give up. It would take some major screw up for the surgery to not work. It's very rare from what I've seen. You just have to give it time. Keep trying to get the protein in. I think we all struggle with that at times. I know I do. Jeanie

Wellll now, I went 4 1/2 weeks without losing a single pound. And then dropped 15 one week. I just stalled again for 2-3 weeks & got on the scale yesterday & it said I had lost 5 pounds. Sooo..... apparently it's normal. But as you can see, I have a hard time believing that myself. As far as the period goes, My is total opposite. During the 3 weeks of taking pills I don't lose anything. And then the week my period starts I lose weight. Even though I feel extremely bloated! I also notice too that I feel hungry all the time & end up eating more food. So it could be that as well. I really dont know. Sorry...i probably wasn't much help!

i stalled a couple times myself...BUT i did notice that when i take in the higher calorie amount, the next day i drop a few pounds. i get between 600-800 calories a day now and on the 800 calorie days is when i lose. 57 pounds is very good though!! keep up the good work.

I *JUST* finished a 10 day stall - lost 1 lb today Stalls will happen, just keep doing protein, water and exercise and ignore the scale for awhile!

Gosh, Brandy we are on the exact same track. I had surgery 2/10, have lost 60 lbs and I haven't lost anything this last week. I just started my cycle yesterday, so I am hoping that is the cause. If not, I'm sure the loss will pick back up again soon. Congrats of the 57 lbs. and remember this is just a little stall and we will be back on track and losing again soon. Good Luck, Mary M.

Hi Brandy I wanted to let you know I have been in a stall lately too. And I had lap-band so I went in for a fill yesterday so we will see if i start losing again.
