Thanks - My grandmother's name is Elaine, Mom put an "sh" on the front. We southerners wind up pronouncing it Shuh-lane, though. I love cashews, I'll have to try that. Thanks again! Shelaine

I was always "regular as clockwork" but no more. Two things help. If I eat about 3 prunes a day that usually takes care of it. Also, Crunchy GOLEAN cereal by Kashi works miracles for me. I can take about 1 cup of it with fat free milk. I like it and the next day it clears me out without being difficult. Good luck,Karen

Hi Shelaine! We had surgery the same day! That was a great day! I know you've already gotten a ton of responses but, I thought I'd throw another one at you. For me, when I don't exercise I get bound up. As long as I do my walk, I'm good for that day. And water!!! That always helps. As far as finding things to eat. I hate to cook too. I cook for my husband and sons, but when it comes to me, I usually grab a hand full of nuts. I love whole wheat toast with peanut butter or a poached egg. Every day I drink a bottle of Isopure. Come to think of it, I need to improve my eating too!!! Maisy 2/23/05 down 50 pounds

I have heard some people use flax seed in their diet. They buy it in the seed form and grind it with a coffee grinder. Then they put it in their cereal. I have never tried it, but the folks that have say that it has a nutty flavor to it and it keeps them regular. Personally, If I am having propblems, I just drink a glass of prune juice. Works great for me. Sherry 2-22-2005 345/297/?
