Anyone else?

Lori, I think we all go thru this. I lost daily for the first two weeks, then I stalled out for 2 1/2 weeks without losing a single pound. Then, it picked up again. I only lost 2 pounds over the past two weeks, and when I weighed this morning, I was down 3 pounds from yesterday morning. I know I just need to quit weighing every day - but I cannot stop myself!!!! Ok..... every one of you..... STEP...... AWAY....... FROM....... THE...... SCALE! Lock them up in the garage, your husband's car trunk, even bury it in the backyard, if you have to. LOL Ok... confession time.... the only reason I am not obsessed and weighing myself every day is that I don't have a scale that goes high enough for me and so I have to go all the way to the hospital to weigh myself... LOL (me hiding for giving too much advice) ---> Forgive me?

I had surgery the same day as you. I too am experiencing the same thing - I do not lose on a daily basis. Remember - slow and staedy win the race!!

Not only does the scale not move for days...I actually gain back 2 or so pounds on several occasions before weight loss will even kick into gear again. I usually don't lose anything til I gain the pound or two first...weird. I feel like I'm raging a battle against the same two pounds over and over. Wonder if that might be because my body is in starvation mode... currently at -46lbs Lap Last rny 2/16/06 Dr. Nazarian f.a.c.s. 237/191/115....that's what both my sisters weigh ANYWAY.......

Dear Lori, I had that problem also, I even gained 2lbs a couple of times, and I could hardly believe it because I have had diarrea up to 20 times a day for the first month and a half and now I have it every time I eat anything solid.I had the surgery on Feb. 17, 2005.
