How much have you lost???
Hi everyone..I had surgery 2-14-05 I'm just over two months out have lost 37lbs, I go to the gym 5 times a week 2 days with a personal trainer & 3 days of cardio..I love it, it was hard at first, but I make myself go..my sizes have gone from 22 to 16!! People I know tell me all the time how good I look, but when I look into the mirror I don't see it ...must be in my head..I even went down entire size in my underwear!! I'm so happy to be on the losing team!!!
hello all, Ok let's see it's 10 weeks for me and its a total of 64lbs (50 lbs post op) I was 298 on Jan 2nd on my first bariatric appointment. I was 284 the day of surgery on Feb 10th and now 234, I started in a tight 26/28 and now I am in a 16/18 I can't believe it. Even my shoes are looser from a 12www to a 11 regular. That's weird. I was having a weight loss stall and I think that the recent gallbladder surgery kicked things back off cuz I had to go back on liquids and lost 13 lbs in 2 weeks. so I hope i continue to be a loser. Great job to all of you guys. Saida
Yo Sharon - congrats on your lose and thanks for asking the question. I thought I was running behind on weight loss because I am a "light weight" but I can see that I am in line with everyone else.
woohoo - in 9 weeks, down 39 pounds total - 2 before and 37 after and I feel great. I started back at the gym 2 weeks ago (I was walking every other day before) and I lost 6 pounds that first week. I have some size 20 pants that I can squeeze into, but mostly 22's - down from a comfortable 26. Tops are now xl or 1x and comfortable, down from 2x or 22/24.
I am seeing Mom & Dad next week for the first time since surgery and I can wait to see their faces. Both of them were checking on me everyday for the first few weeks after my surgery and not if I don't check in every few days, Mom worries.
good luck Sharon!

Hi Everyone
Sounds like everyone is doing FANTASTIC I happen to be one of those who got to start the Feburary surgerys out.. I have lost 41 lbs as of last Saturday. I had to" just say no "to my scale.. It was becoming my master. I haven't spent much money on new clothes YET. My clothes were sooooo tight when I went into surgery that I had to get new ones to wear after surgery that would fit over my binder..,lol I am actually enjoying the fact that they are so loose and comfortable at this time..But I have had to get smaller shirts. My biggest complaint is the fact that I am so cold all the time.. I live in the desert of Arizona and I have been wearing my sweats and long sleave shirts.. Cant wait for the warmer weather!!! Good Luck Everybody..

Hi
I had surgery 2 months and 1 day ago and I have lost 48lbs. I'm 5 9 and I went from 22 to 20 in pants, and my shirts are getting bigger on me. I have been worried a lot because I think that I have not lost enough. I feel like I can eat to much also. But I guess I should be happy with the weight I have lost and I am I just wi**** were more.
