I went for my 2 month post op appt yesterday and have lost 43lbs! I have been worried about how slow I am losing, but the doc says I am right on track. I really need to add more exercise I think, so I am going to try and work on that next I didnt know this board existed, so I will start checking in on others from February 2005 surgeries! Hi Sharon, I've lost 40 pounds (didn't think I was going to do it before 4-22----but, I did!) Anyway I am still wearing the 22's I had before surgery.....they just fit sooooooo much nicer now!! Maybe in a couple of weeks I will go try on new clothes just to see what size I COULD wear! Have a great day! Cathy Fowler

Hi, my name is Marion and I'm a loser. **Hi, Marion!" I joined the losing club on 2/28/05 and when I weighed on my 7 week aniversary, I was down 44.5 lbs. (from 407.5 to 363). I guess sometimes being 5'9" isn't a good thing. LOL As for clothing sizes, I, like Green eyes, haven't really tried on any different sizes, but the 28's that I've been wearing aren't tight anymore and some clothes I've had to completely stop wearing. I'm happy with my loss so far, but REALLY wish I was losing faster. I just know that I feel GREAT, so I won't argue with that.

Hey TX Pepper I am 10 weeks out and I have lost 39 lbs. I have gone from a size 26/28 to size 22/24. I think that I am losing so slowly...but from other's posts I guess I am right on target...I am trying to up my exercising and water...so hopefully by the time I am 4 months out I would have lost a lot more Shaaron

I had my surgery on Valentine's Day and I am -49lbs. I went from a 28/30 to a 22/24. Best decision I ever made. I didnt measure before surgery, I measured about 3 weeks out. Recorded inch loss is about 25 but I think actual is probably about 40.

I lost 24 before surgery, and 32 since surgery [very slow loss], for a total of 56 since December. I have gone from a very tight size 26 in jeans to a 22, and can wear some 16/18 tops. Compliments are starting to get more frequent I am down about 8 inches from the waist. Ruth
