It could be many things: period, water weight, too much salt, etc. Honestly I would not worry too much!

Erin, I agree with the other post. Try to stay off the scales as much as you can. I struggled with the weight gain to but very soon after you will lose those 3 lbs. and more. Remember, isn't much we can do to jeapardize our weight loss the first 3 months. Protein firs****er, and excersize and the weight will melt away. Good luck, Dana

yeah erin. you've been through enough.. try to stop weighing yourself for a week. we're all still in that first three month stage. the ups and downs are still happening for us, so try not to worry too much and hang in there. dorthe

Erin: step away from the scale! LOL. That's what someone had to tell me! I was driving myself NUTS! I finally packed it into DH's trunk (he work's out of town during the week) so I now weigh on Saturday mornings. It's much better for my brain! You have been through a lot, so take it easy on yourself. Now is about the time we will slow down (we had surgery the same day!). It's a bit of a bummer, but our bodies are still healing and need the rest. It will pick up again when we least expect it (that's what I keep telling myself anyway!). Big Hugs, Susi
