Picture Added
I added a new picture to my profile today. I am noticing some good changes in my facial features and I have a neck, lol. If your interested take a peek, I also updated my profile.
I wanted to say thanks to very one for all the encouragement and for answering my questions. I am so excited I had WLS and would do it again in a minute.
Every day is wonderful. Hope all of you are having a great weekend. The weather here is beautiful.

Wow! You go girl! I can see a big difference. I am amazed at the difference between your doctor and my doctors diet plans. I had my surgery the 28th and am STILL on pureed/full liquid. Well, supposed to be...lol I have "cheated" and for 4 days have had macaroni and cheese and a few pinto beans for one meal a day, and boy does it make me feel better! I am still not convinced I did the right thing, and even though I started out at 287 and am now almost 240, I miss feeling "normal" and being able to eat whatever I want. I am hardly ever hungry and am sick of sweet, fruity, mushy food....I can't even stand the taste of my vitamins and supplements. I haven't been brave enough to try meat yet...but am thinking about it so that I can try to get more protein.
Have you had any hair loss? I have and it worries me. I bought a bottle of biotin today, anybody here take it???
Again, WAY TO GO! Maybe when I look skinny like you I will be happier about the surgery...LOL
P.S. I too get irritated at hubby when he eats Mexican in front of me, but the worst was when I was in the hospital (the 2nd time) and they didn't let me have anything by mouth for a week and he came in crunching ice!!! If I had had the strength I would have happily strangled him!

Steph, I haven't started losing hair yet but I fully expect to will soon. I have been using the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner since before my surgery and hopefully it will help some.
I am sorry you feel like you might have done the wrong thing with the surgery. I am sure once you get to eat more solid foods you will feel better. Meats are dense and full you up quickly. I haven't really craved anything but a pickle since surgery and I've eaten one spear, just the insides I was afraid the outside was to tough.
If you every need to talk, please email me or send me your phone number and I can give you a call. It will get better.
