WELL IT'S BEEN 5 WEEKS SINCE SURGERY AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT HAS GONE BY WITHOUT INCIDENT I HAVE LOST 54 POUNDS AND FEEL GREAT! I'M ABLE TO EAT ABOUT WHAT I WANT WITH A FEW EXCEPTIONS IN THE MEAT DEPT. AND NOT HAVE PROBLEMS I READ SOME OF THE OTHER POSTS AND I JUST HAVE TO SAY AGAIN IF YOU ARE OUT THERE THINKING OF HAVING IT DONE STOP RIGHT NOW AND CALL DR. FRANTZIDES HE NOT ONLY PERFORMS THIS LAPOROSCOPIC BUT HIS PROCEDURE DOES NOT INVOLVE CUTTING THE NERVES THAT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PROCESS CERTAIN FOODS IN YOUR SYSTEM I AM PROBABLY NOT COMPLETLY EXPLAINING IT RIGHT SO CALL FOR THE FACTS,ALSO DON'T LET A DR. TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE TOO BIG FOR LAPOROSCOPIC IT'S NOT TRUE. AS YOU CAN TELL I'M VERY HAPPY AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN

WOw Todd that is great news! 5 weeks and 54lbs lighter! I've only lost 35 lbs in 7 weeks. For some reason my weight lose is going loser then I like. So I need to pick up the pace again. I'm really happy for you. God Bless Maria

I was told by my doctor that an average of 5-7 pounds a week is appropriate and usual. (More is okay, of course!). Cris RNY 2/17/2005 270/232.5/150?

hi todd: kudos on the weight loss. your experience sounds kind of like mine. i'm about 7 weeks out. the only thing giving me issues so far is certain meats. other than that i'm ok. i'm down about 55 lbs with only 155 or so left to go. yeah. keep up the great work. take care dorthe
