What did you eat EASTER DAY
Bacon & eggs???? STEAK??? Yum. I was pressured into foregoing Catholic Mass and attending my sister's Easter special at her church (non-denom) - way different - but good. So that was the morning. Everyone was to go to her house for food and the egg hunt for the kids. I don't have children (human ones, anyway) so I went home and told them to call me when all the food was put away. So that's what they did. I had my usual, sf pudding, some crystal light Sunrise, and some Broccoli Cheese Potato Soup (it wasn't that great). When I got to her house, there was still plenty of quality time to be had, but no food out on the counters.

I am completely freaking out at some of the things you guys are already eating. I can not eat more than 1-1/2 oz. of anything. I have eaten any sweets what so ever except for sf jello. I mostly stick with soups, mashed potatoes, easily digestable foods. I got sick on easter. I had 1 bite of corn, 2 green beans, 1 bite of ham. I was full. But then I went back and had a 2nd bite of mashed potatoes an 1-2 later and became so ill. I was miserable. But I tell you-it is all worth it. I am 5weeks out and have lost 45 lbs. last time I checked. It is a miracle.
Good Luck to you All!

I am SHOCKED by the responses here!!! I had my surgery on February 28th and I am STILL on a full liquid diet. Is my doctor too cautious?
