I need a good egg salad and ham salad recipe!

I have been waiting for the day I could get stuff from Honeybaked Ham here only to find that they are out of chicken salad, egg salad and they no longer make ham salad unless its a special occasion Anyone got a good egg and ham salad recipe? The easier the better since I am not a very good cook Bland too if you please - my new tummy prefers stuff that way.

Hi ya Kia....I see you are in Georgia too! I am way up in the mountains....tiny little town. Anyway...I don't have a ham salad recipe...although that sounds awfully yummy right now...but when I make egg salad its really simple. I just boil the eggs, chop them up really good...and then mash them together with a fork to make them finer. I add just a little light mayo....just enough to moisten the salad and hold the eggs together...then I add some sweet salad cubes...or can add dill pickle cubes....not much of either mind you....a little salt and pepper, and wa la....lol....bland egg salad. I usually sprinkle a little paprika on top. If you come across a good ham salad recipe...I would love to have it. Take care. Lori

Hey again Kia...I searched through some recipes....and came up with this Ham salad recipe....I have never tried it...so don't know what it taste like....good luck. Classic Ham Salad 1/2 cup Light Cream Cheese Spread 1/4 cup Mayo Light Mayonnaise 1 pkg. (9 oz.) Shaved Smoked Ham, finely chopped 1/4 cup Sweet Pickle Relish 2 Tbsp. chopped red bell pepper Black pepper to taste MIX cream cheese spread and mayo in medium bowl until well blended. ADD remaining ingredients; mix well.

Hi Kia! When I make egg salad, I just boil the eggs, cut them into pieces and them mash with a fork. I add in some mayo and mustard, salt and pepper. I have also added dill relish for a little extra flavor. I would love a good ham salad recipe - that sounds good. I used to get really good chicken salad at Sams - I haven't bought it since surgery, so I don't know how much if any sugar it has in it, but it was in an orange and white container - very tasty!
