Where have all the February people gone?
Hey guys....I know that we are all out there enjoying our new lives.....and learning how to eat and live again.....but I am missing you all. I check the message boards everyday...and am always so disappointed to find that there are rarely, if any, new posts here. Let's get this board hopping and support each other......anyone with me?

Me too! One of my friends posts on her monthly surgery board, and it's more active than some of the state boards. We need some more people to post here. Where is everyone?
I'm still here, still struggling to get enough liquids in. Does anyone else forget to drink?
But I'm also feeling great, and enjoying my new life. No problems eating whatsoever. I'm released to eat anything, and I even ate 1/2 a piece of pizza. (It wasn't nearly as good as I remember, to anyone who misses pizza)...
How is everyone else doing?

Hey Jennifer,
So glad you are here! I have been craving pizza... lol .... I seem to be addicted to food worse now that before surgery, just because I can't stand to eat. I was watching food network last weekend....and they had Pizza weekened....and were showing all the different styles of pizzas.....and i tell you my mouth watered like crazy. it is right now just thinking about it....but I am scared to try. glad to know it wasn't as good as remembered. lol. I forget to drink too. I will be doing something and think...oh crap...i need to drink something. its frustrating. What do you drink? I am so tired of crystal lite and sf kool-aid. even the propel fitness water that i loved, tastes funny and really sweet to me now. I have also tried the tropicana light lemonade, but it gives me heartburn really bad. Any suggestions?

I'm here too, but I guess I'm a lurker. I don't wanna spout off too much and wear out my welcome. I guess the fact that I like hearing from everyone else means that other people would like to hear from me. LOL I'll try to talk more. I have been drinking iced tea lately. This is what I do:
I take a good sized gravy pitcher and put 3 decaf tea bags and 2 sweet & low in it and fill it with boiling water. I fill my water bottle (which is about twice the size of the pitcher) with ice while the tea brews. When the tea is REALLY dark, I pour it over the ice and put the tea bags in with it. It is really good and quite refreshing.... and DECAFFINATED!

Hi Lori! I, too, check the Feb board every day. Things are going ok, but my weightloss has been slow since I got my period. Now that it's over, I'm hoping it will pick up again. I've been having a hard time with chicken this past week or so and throw up every so often. Still doing best with fish and shrimp.

Hi ya Cara....congratulations on your weight loss. I do pretty well with shrimp too....but am bored with it. LOL.....I have always LOVED shrimp...and never thought I would say I was bored with it! Anywho.... I have a hard time with chicken too....I can only eat it if its FRESH.....meaning...I can't fix it and eat left overs the next day. Just something about when I reheat it...makes me sick every time.
