Happy surgical anniversary to Pat and Joe

Hi All, Today is my one-month surgical anniversary, along with Pat M., who had the room across the hall from me. Since pre-admission testing, I've lost 37 lbs. and feel great! I got my G-tube out this week (left over from a minor surgical complication) and am looking forward to starting a swimming regimen as soon as the wound heals. I've been walking nearly every day (they keep promising us that spring is coming up north here...) and yesterday walked just over two miles. Eating is a bit of a chore (sufficient calories/proteins), plus blending everything has been a pain. The good news is that, effective tomorrow, I graduate to soft solids. Woohoo!!!
