One montth post up today!!!!
Hello everyone I just wanted to see how everyone is doing. I hope veryone is doing great. Today I am 1 month post op and I've lost 35 lbs I am working out everyday. No heavy lifting or anything basically treadmill for a good 45 min to an hour or I do the cross training machine. Thank God everything has gone so smoothly. I basically eat the same thing I try to change it up a little but it's hard. I eat eggs, chicken, cheese, lean turkey breast, and beans But I always eat protein first. I am however having a hell of a time with the protein drinks I have tried them all and as far as they go isopure is the only one I can stand. I hate milk can't even think about it it makes me sick. h2o still hard. Well thanks for listening I hope that everyone is doing super well and that God blesses you all talk to you soon.
Hi Natalia
I had my surgery a little over a month ago and I too have lost 35lbs (yippee)... I am glad you are doing well and I live in Tampa too. I wanted to tell you about a protein drink that I absolutely love (actually two). The first one is from www.vitalady.com and its a grape protein. I mix it with water and it taste like grape kool-aid (and not very sweet)... The second one is Pro-Performance from GNC- its unflavored. Its easy to get down as well. Good luck on your drinks. They are very important. My cousin loves the ready made drinks from Vitamin Shoppe (Kennedy and Fowler) - they are different flavors and worth 40g of protein per bottle....but they are expensive 3.00 per botttle... But its worth it for her - since she can not down the mixes. Try that as well...

congratulations! I'm SO excited for you! I am also just over 1 month post-op. My doctor's very far from me, so I don't get alot of coaching about things. I, too am able to eat all the things you can. I was VERY worried that I was eating solids too soon because lots of people after 4 months still can't get meat down. I can't stand those nasty protein drinks either....have you tried ISOPURE in the icy orange? yummmmm...
I was also wondering how much more weight you have to go? I am down 24 lbs in a little over a month. My goal is 115lbs, which is exactly what both my sisters weight(same height as me). I would just like to know that I'm not losig too slow.
