Hi all you febbers, I had mine on 2/1/05. I am now down 42 pounds ! I still cannot believe it. I think I was more shocked because I dont weight myself I wait for the checkups. Im feeling fine and have alot of the same issues as you guys I just cant get in the water I am only getting in about 40 ozs. I have no taste for food and have to force myself to eat. But I am so glad I did this and I know it will get better for us. Great job everyone and keep up the good work!

Hi all, I had my surgery on 2-22-2005. I gained 15 lbs of fluid in the hospital but have since lost all of that and 28 lbs. I went back to work just six days after my surgery, but I work mostly at home, I am a mortgage closer, so when I have a closing I do have to travel 41 miles to the mortgage company to do them. I have been on puree foods for a week now. I use progresso soups and add more beef or chicken to them and put them in the blender. They are quite tasty that way. My only problems with being nausious was when I tried to add peanut butter to a protein shake, wont be doing that again!!!! I have a hard time getting in the 64 oz of fluid but have been successful and getting enought protein in. I have been walking on the treadmill, man I hate that thing, it is so boring but living in Michigan I dont really have much choice. I live in the country so it is either mud or snow right now. Not that pleasant of a walk. So I will keep plugging along on the treadmill. I have not had any problems sleeping, can sleep on my side or back, was never much of a stomach person anyway. Glad to see everyone doing so well and to see that the average weight loss has been about the same for all of us. I was kind of discourage because I have not lost anything for about a week, but many people from my support group said that my body is catching up with what I have already lost and as long as I stick to the program, it will continue to come off. So lets us all keep that in mind. Cheers to everyone. Sherry 345/317/?
