Hungry?

Does anyone else still feel hungry? I had heard from many people that I wouldn't feel hungry after surgery, but I still do. I am satisfied much quicker, but I feel like I could eat more than 2-4 oz and that scares me. I've yet to get sick from anything, really. And I haven't ever gotten uncomfortably full. So what's the deal? Cara W.

I hardly ever feel full either. The only time is when I am eating way too fast. I eat slowly all the time now. I just started 4 tblsp of pureed foods, and feel that I can do more. I think it is becasue I eat as slow as I do. We are talking 60 minutes from start to finish, sometimes longer. I am enjoying the food though. I have often thought that I might still feel hunger pains, but I think it was mental only.

YES!!! i feel hungry as well..its a new hungry but i can tell when the pouch is empty and wants food!!! strange eh! this just showes how diiffreent we all are..i also feel full...well it a pressure that i have decided is full!!! but your not alone! i think its great becasue we cant forget toeat..at frist iwas not eating and my body was needing it.. now i know and i can grab a piece of cheese or somthing!!!! good luck! kate

I felt like that until I increased my protein and fluids.... then I was full & that hunger feeling is gone. Now I am too full- but my doctor told me to increase my protein and fluids and I will lose more weight.. try it- it works
