1st Postop Visit With the Surgeon

All's well. All but one steri strip has come off, but the wounds look terrific. Since they first weighed me in at the consultation, I've lost 38 pounds! My clothes are beginning to show it. I'm returning to work on Monday. I've been really lucky, no dumping yet. Only problem has been a bit of constipation. It's good to be adding new things to my diet. I have to wait a little bit more to get back on my bike. Thanks guys for all your support.

Wow! That's exciting -- 38 pounds! I am so happy for you. Congratulations. I had my first visit with Dr DeWitt yesterday after my surgery on 2/15. I have lost 24 pounds. I am very pleased. Carol L
