Stomach Ache

I had 2oz's of "cream of tomato soup" today (for the first time) and my stomach hurts a little. It's been over 2 hrs and now when I try my protein drink I have a little pain. Does this soup have something in it I should not have? Please help. I am one week post opt. Thanks

cream of tomato soup is high in sugar content in fact the highest in soups the key is no more than 16 grams per serving you are in dumping mode it will pass but not without discomfort

The only thing I can think of is what my diet says, no tomato anything till your third week. To much acid in it! My Dr also said that it could be longer depending on how my stomach is healing. Soooo...maybe it is just that. If it doesn't stop in a little while I would call the Dr. Don't want it to be anything serious! Hope this helps! Brandy
