Surgery on hold

Hi Everyone, As some of you knew I was scheduled for RNY on Feb 24. However, due to my personal illness and continued complications with a sugery my son had 5 weeks ago (he has a staph infection) my RNY is on hold until his infection is cleared up. The hospital called today to tell me it was scheduled for March 10, but once I told them about my son they said I need to wait until his leg is completely healed. Last think I want or need to get a staph infection in my incision.......So, we are on hold for now. Thank you everyone for all your encouraging words. Cathi

I know waiting is hard but I sounds wize on your part. Because this sx will really take a lot out of you not only your body but your mental will be taxed. So take it slow it will get here and then you will be ready to focus on your well being. Best wishs,' cindy
