Hello, February!

I wanted to drop a note and say that I'm Susane, (SOO-zun, not Soo-ZANNE) and I'm one week out today. I'm having a fantastic time of things and (knock on wood) no complications yet! My surgery was laproscopic and my six tiny scars and drain wound are nearly healed, I'm tolerating everything I eat (soups, refried beans and cheese, scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, tuna salad, chicken pot pie innards...all pureed) and having no real problems keeping my protein levels and fluid levels up. I'm getting in two to three miles a day of exercise and I feel great! I'm all ready about fifty pounds down from my highest weight. I keep myself occupied with making replacement bracelets for my med-ID tag...and if you want more info about that, get in touch! I've been lurking here for a month or so, so it feels good to make an introduction. Good for all of us for making this decision to get healthy! All the best- Susane

I just discovered this forum today! Glad you are doing well, I am 24 days post-op and down 29 pounds form my highest weight. ( Which is higher than when I had my chidren) 232 down to 203. Am delighted , but still overwhelmed with all the changes that are neccessary. Knew about them going into this, but reality is tough sometimes. Hope you continue to do well.
