i had lyposcopic rny and i had my surgery 2 weeks ago on the 24th. i have things that i want to do like cleaning, washing my car, and other things, but i get in the middle of it and feel like i have no energy left to finish what i am doing. is this normal? i am doing everything by the book and have lost 32 pounds, so i was wondering if anyone else has had the frustration of no energy.

That is totally normal. In my discharge from the hospital they checked off 'no work, no school, no housework...' so you're probably doing too much too soon. Be easy on yourself you just had major surgery! Kelly lapband 2/14/05 -15lbs

This is totally normal. I didn't start getting some energy bac****il 17 days post op. And I am still not up to full speed. Give yourself time and don't feel guily for resting. Good Luck, Mary M.
