The first thing to do is read through your policy and is if it is even covered. I actually just called the costomer service at my ins. co and they said it was covered. From there you need to find out what their qualifications are. Most ins. co have certain things you have to do before they will agree to the surgery. Good Luck, Mary M.

I called the customer service number also (I found the number on the back of my insurance id card) and just asked if they covered this procedure. Once you find out that it is, pick a surgeon and go for it!! I know what you mean about waiting, I didn't have an insurance company that would cover me for about 5 years also. Best wishes and good luck! Let us know when you find out. Diana
