CAME HOME TODAY FEVER, DIARRHEA

Had lap RNY Tuesday, spiked a temp up to 102 in the hospital Tues night. The Dr wasn't concerned. My temp went down today and then this alien looking greenish black water came OVER AND OVER. Could this be from the Xray contrast or the blue ice chips? or possibly from 3oz apple juice I had in the hosp undiluted? Nobody reminded me and I forgot, I have been on another planet. Please respond Deb

Ah, Deb, I've had you in my prayers. The diarrhea is very very common, in fact I'm still suffering a bit from it (2 weeks post op). The temp is another thing. Are you still running one? If you are still running one in the AM call your Dr. pronto. Could be the sign of a leak. As far as another planet, well, I think you just experienced your first dump! Pat, I had 99's last night but none today. I think I am doing better, having trouble getting in 64 oz liquid though. Cramp everytime I swallow. Deb
