I am home today after surgery on 2/15. Things went great. I had no nausea and very little pain. I am not taking any pain meds at all. Drinking the liquids is hard, but I am sipping away. Thanks to everybody for the thoughts and prayers. I know prayer and The Lord got me through the surgery and aftercare at the hospital! My husband has been so supportive and helpful. I am blessed to have him! Carol L

You sound like my twin. I had suregery on the 15th to, no pain & no problems so far. I have had some childrens tylenol to make sure I stay that way. I keep expecting something major to hit, but I cant complain. I am just happy to finally be home. I guess that I have one complaint about one man staying in the same hospital. He thought he was the only one there and would storm up and down the hall screaming and yelling foul words. I was just thankful he didnt find his way into my room. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that feels good. I had to ask the surgery was really done. Best wishes on your journey.

Good for you Carol!!! I had an easy time of it too and was home the following day, but we both know no everyone does as well so count your lucky stars and thank everyone who was praying on your behalf!! I'm sure that is why I had it so easy, there were so many praying on my behalf.--Pat

I have no doubt that I did (and am doing) so well is because of all the prayers I had. I am just thrilled. I thank everybody for praying for me. It WORKS! I did some walking today and am now on soft foods. For breakfast I had cheese grits and scrambled egg - about 2 ounces. It went down without a problem and tasted so good! I am keeping up with my liquids. I really like that Crystal Light. Best wishes to all those who have not yet had the surgery and those who have. We CAN do it and we can make it! I go for my first re-check at Dr DeWitt's on March 10th, so that is three weeks from now. Carol L
