I am a little nervous, no... alot nervous! I keep thinking about the "what-iff's" and I just want it all over. I would pay $$$ for a spaghetti dinner with a ton of sauce, and it's sad to think I will never have that huge plateful again. Whoa is me! please pray for peace, I need it. Deb

My good wishes go with you - Just so you know - you will have spaghetti again - I ate it just the other day (surgery in Nov) & it was the BEST spaghetti I have EVER had in my life - It's like every meal I get is the best one ever - because I have to go slow - because I HAVE to enjoy... because I get so little (LOL) It'll all be good. My good thoughts go with you - I hope you will know the same joys I have already experienced. Today is a good day!

Hi Deb, My prayers are with you and for your peace of mind, especially concerning the spaghetti!!! You will be fine and won't be craving the big plate of spaghetti. Think about the physically well body that you can look forward to and that your joints and body won't be aching anymore. Think about the fact that if you are on a whole lot of meds that you will be able to come off of them. Pasta is really a weakness for me too and I really thought it would kill me to give it up. Thanks be to God, I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would. Under my doctor's instructions, I had to give it up pre-op!! Another thing, think about all of the clothes that you saw and wanted to buy or dreamt you could wear but couldn't because of your size and you will finally be able to wear them and look good. Hopefully all these good things will help you not to stress over the spaghetti. My prayers are with you as you enter your new life tomorrow. Beverly
