Leakage

Hi, I had my 1st surgery 8-31-2004, my second surgery 9-04-2004, then I had a procedure for fluid 9-04-2004. I still have a leak in the top of my stomach. I was dismissed from the hospital 10-10-2004, with a feeding tube and drainage tube. I have not be able to eat by mouth 8-31-2004. I have under gone either a Ct-scan or upper GI every two weeks. Has any one had this problem, and what was done to seal the hole? I have been researching on the internet. found alot of other things wroung, but nothing just like mine. I'm not getting much help from the hospital staff , they just seem to have me under go another Ct-scan or Upper GI, every other week. I am short on time for work, have been unpayed because of the lack of time. for appointments. Please if anyone has suggestions I would be glad to here anything you have to say. I don't personally have suggestions but if I were you, I would be taking myself to a major medical center for another opinion. Before you do that, check out the second doctor's credentials well. You are not the normal case--you need a very experienced doctor to figure out what is going on. Do NOT let this go on. If your doctor has done everything he knows to do, it is time to find someone with more expertise. Good luck to you, Joy

Deborah, I second Joy's opinion. You need to seek a second opinion from a very qualified endro gastric physician. This just doesn't seem right to me. I'm so sorry you are having these problems. It must be very very frustrating for you. You will be in my prayers, but you should seek another opinion from the medical community. Pat
