HELP

i know this is a febuary surgery board but i have been looking and looking and looking all morning for help in finding a doctor that is covered by Ohio medicaid anyone out there recently have surgery covered by it? i went threw all the hoops about a year and a half ago when i was still working and was approved for surgery but then my insurance denied it i have since became disabled(mostly weight releated issues) and now have medicaid and am in more need for surgery now then ever . i called medicaid and keep getting a leave a message and they will return it like yet right when? i knew this was all going to be a struggle as i have seen all of you have had but it's been 2 yrs now and i keep running into loophole after loophole i'm desperate at this time

I could call the case worker for your medicade, you should have one. There should be a web site or something that will tell you who takes medicade. If nothing else, get the phone book out and start dialing. Good Luck Cathi

yeah i have my case worker in not very helpful at all for the position i'm in she is very cold and rude i called medicaid they were no help and my phone book doesn't include places like this i'm in a small city so but thanks for the reply and since that post i also poset in the ohio forum and the insurance cordinator for Dr currys office replied in the post they take medicaid and i have a appoinment to meet him on the 3rd!!! thank you for replying tho
