post op pain

I had my surgery done on Feb. 4th. The pain is getting better...but I have some burning (very bad) in my abdomen. Has this happened to anyone? I feel like I'm never gonna get back to normal. Please respond back ASAP. thanks,Flo

call your doctor!!! that's what he is being paid for!!! and if it turns out to be normal, won't you feel better knowing that? good luck and take GOOD care of yourself! Pat

I have been told burning is normal. Our nerves are wakeing up. It also happened to me but it's gone now. I had my surgery in Jan 24 am 20 days out and the pain gets better each day. Good Luck God Bless Josie

Sorry you are in pain. You didn't mention if you still have *G* tubes... the leak from those caused me some burning discomfort until they were removed. As the others mentioned, call your surgeon. They would rather have a *false alarm* call than not have a call that needs attention. Hope all gets better for you SOON!! Hugz n Texas Blessings, Cath
