I was a January peer, until they cancelled me because of my WBC!!

Hello all I was a January peer. My scheduled surgery was on Jan 24th!! But on the day of my surgery, getting ready to go to the operating room, they noticed my white blood count was to low and they sent me packing!! It was awful. To get the full picture you can read my profile if you would like. ANyways I got cleared to have surgery today, so I am scheduled for Feb 21!!! I am so excited again, and so happy nothing was wrong with me its just the way my body is. So now I am happy to be back here agian with all of you waiting to have my surgery, and be part of the February gang. My advice for anyone is to have your Dr. look at your preop blood work before hand and save yourself the heartached of being hooked up to IV's and then beoing unhooked and told "No surgery for you" It was devastating. But here I am all good to go and just wanted to share this with all of you!!

Wow Christi what a bummer! I am having my surgery this Tuesday and I can't imagine how you felt! but that was in the past and now you have your new date, sooo, CONGRATULATIONS to you and I hope you have a speedy and an uneventful recovery! Keep us updated! ~Sandy~
