Tomorrow is the big day.

just got a call from Regions Hospital confirming the surgery tomorrow. I have to be there at 10:30am for a 12:45 surgery. I can't believe it is almost here. It feels so real, yet not real at the same time. I feel great today, I'm glad my surgeon had me do the bowel prep yesterday, because that is one less thing I have to worry about today. All I need to do is finish cleaning my apartment, pack my duffle bag, continue taking the pre-op antibiotics, and drinking lots of water. My Dad and step-mom will be getting into town early this evening, so I'll probably spend time with them at their hotel, and show them how to get to the hospital. The nice thing is I get to sleep in tomorrow morning!!!! I was dreading a 4am alarm wakeup call to prepare for a 5am arrival if I was the first surgery scheduled for the day. Although I'll probably be so excited/anxious tonight that I probably won't sleep well. I can't wait to be on the other side!

Lucky duck! I have mine Monday! VALENTINES DAY ...And I have to be there at 5:30 am!!!!! They wont need to put me to sleep! Ill voluntere!!Congradulations and God Bless !! We will all be praying for you!!!
